What do we mean when we say “Natural Ingredient Cleaning Products?”

Modern living puts us in constant contact with many man-made chemicals.  At GoGreen-HouseClean, we don’t think all these chemicals are good for you or kids and pets.  Store-bought cleaners are some of the worst offenders, often sporting paragraphs of ingredients only a chemist could comprehend.  Even more suspicious are cleaners that don’t disclose their ingredients.  Many cleaners explicitly say to keep them away from children and pets.

Modern houses are airtight and can recirculate the same air for days.  Brand-name chemical cleaners use propellants that add to the numerous harmful VOC’s already in the air you breathe.  We mix our cleaners using single natural ingredients and water and no propellants.  We aren’t afraid to use some elbow grease when cleaning, even if it means squeezing a spray bottle with our hands.

Go Green uses simple natural ingredients to disinfect your house.  For example, we use alcohol just like the active ingredient in Lysol (58%).  But unlike Lysol, our other ingredient is simply water.  42% of Lysol comprises “inactive” ingredients they don’t disclose on the can.

We use real lemon juice for its excellent degreasing and anti-microbial properties.  Lemon juice is a simple and natural ingredient that won’t leave lingering chemical residue.

They say that oil and water don’t mix.  Did you know that natural peppermint oils are water soluble?  Just a little bit mixed with water helps grab the dust and makes your house smell great too!
